Contract for Energy Management System
Automation Applications Inc, LLC
(AAI) Exton, PA - January 1, 1999: Automation Applications Inc, LLC
(AAI), a provider of process control solutions and engineering services,
announced it has received a contract from a pulp and paper producer in Peace
River, Alberta, Canada for the implementation of AAI's Energy Management System
for Powerhouse Coordination.
The Energy
Management System
developed by AAI and launched in mid-1998 will coordinated all aspects of the
powerhouse including the steam header system, economic and emergency load
shedding and utility tie line control. The project also includes AAI's advanced
multi-fuel boiler optimization system or Dual Master(tm) which will be included
in the regulatory control system implementation. The project is scheduled for
completion in June.
AAI's EMS system combines
conservation of steam, efficient boiler and turbine control, efficient
electrical usage from the utility, and efficient use of fuel to produce
multimillion dollar yearly energy savings.
